1. Introduction
Thanks for trying Portal of Power (from now on called Portal).
1.1. Features
Portal is a FidoNet compatible mailer with some unique features:

1.2. System requirements
To run Portal of Power the at least the following equipment is re-
quired (Although this do not guarantee that Portal runs on your
system, even if you have that equipment!):
- MS-DOS 3.1 or newer
- 450 KB free memory
- 2 MB free harddisk space
- 8088 or newer processor
- A modem & a phone line
- A fossil driver
1.3. The Portal Team
The Portal Team is:

In the beginning there was Binkley..... But that was not enough - and
at some point, a little over 3 years ago, the first 3 of The Portal
Team (SA, TS, DW) met for the first time.... Soon things started to
get out of hand, and some wild ideas emerged and Portal of Power
v0.01á1 was born. But that was (to say it mildly) not a very stable
product, but luckily our beta testers had fate in us (God knows why?)
and little after little it became more stable and a lot of new featu-
res was implemented. Then one of our beta testers volunteered to write
a BBS file lister, as a plug-in unit - and then The Portal Team got
it's fourth member (JS), but that didn't stop him, he later wrote the
User Browser too.
As you probably can see from the above the development of Portal has
been great fun, even at the current cost of software, fast food,
a.s.o.
